Tonight we are proud to announce the Grand Opening Party at The Citizen Hotel! This evening’s festivities, hosted by Joie de Vivre and Rubicon Partners, will begin at 5 p.m. with entertainment from the Dave Bass Jazz Duo, the Valerie V Quartet and ballroom dancers. At 6:30 p.m. Chip Conley, CEO and founder of Joie de Vivre Hotels, and Kipp Blewett, general partner of Rubicon Partners, are scheduled to give the opening remarks streaming live on plasma screens throughout the hotel.
Those invited will be able to dance the night away in the classic Plaza Park ballroom, savor the sensational flavors of Grange restaurant, sneak away to Scandal for sinful conversation and sip cool cocktails from the martini luge on our Metropolitan terrace. It will surely be an entertaining night with celebrity impersonators such as Marilyn Monroe, Groucho Marx and Sarah Palin. Topping off the night, guests will visit the penthouse suites for a spectacular finish where champagne flows and chocolate truffles tower. Also, Grange will be closed to the general public for the night.
